To listen to God has to be our priority
But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
Luke 11:28 (NKJV)
World Changer: How much of the day do we dedicate to the Word of God to listen all His advice for our lives?
Many born again Christians, before coming to Christ were religious and sadly even in Christ we keep behaving with that spirit of religiosity and we mistakenly think that listening to God is for moments or for Sunday, which is when some of us attend church, but those of us who have really had an encounter with Christ, we desire and yearn to listen and obey His voice 24 hours a day 7 days a week and of course meet with church members each day of service.
Let us not allow the enemy confuse us and make us feel that it is ridiculous to kneel down to pray with so many problems that life has, read the Bible or spend time in Church. This would be a great deception and it would show that we still do not know God as He would like.
Apostle Paul told Timothy to persist in all that he had learned from the Holy Scriptures because they would make him wise for the salvation that is through faith in Jesus.
That he take the Scriptures as the Word of the Most High and serve Him to teach, correct, and instruct others in justice, because it is not only about our lives but also about those who share the message of salvation (2 Timothy 3: 14- 17).
*Today, the ones that walk from Jesus’hand, let us ask Him for His grace so we may have hunger and thirst of His Word so that we can read the Holy Bible and understand that we are going to an eternity and we will receive a crown in heaven.
Today is your day of salvation if you can surrender to Jesus with all your heart (Romans 10:8-13).
Christ in us our hope of glory and our victory that changes the world (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
